How it all works
We can take an existing XML or other feed that is used to post notices to an existing website, parse it and use it to produce interactive mini-sites. These are hosted on our server. In the majority of cases we end up hosting all the publishers announcements. We currently support 39 different announcement types and have room for many more.
We provide training and support for staff and maintain an email-based help function on the site.
Security
iAnnounce reads and approves every message left on the site before it is posted; given the sensitivity and importance of customers' notices, we regard this pre-moderation as a vital part of the service. Anyone wishing to leave a message on the site must register and confirm their e-mail address with us. Once a notice has been posted, if anybody objects to a notice it can be removed, following consultation with the newspaper or, if necessary, the notice place.
Commercial
We charge a flat fee per announcement. All data and traffic is counted as part of the publisher’s website, and the site is branded throughout with the paper’s logo.
